Many parents seek therapy not because they’ve done anything wrong, but because they genuinely care and want to support their child’s growth. When emotions or behaviors feel overwhelming, we can work together to understand what’s happening and help both you and your child feel supported.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in supporting children and families through emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and have advanced training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). I meet children where they are developmentally by using play, their natural language, to help them explore their inner experiences, develop self-regulation skills, and work through challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

I work with children experiencing anxiety, depression, family changes such as divorce, social struggles, behavioral concerns, emotional dysregulation, and the impacts of family violence or major life transitions. In addition to working directly with children, I place great value on supporting parents. I help caregivers understand their child’s needs, strengthen their connection, and learn practical skills based on CCPT and Child–Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) principles. My goal is to empower parents with tools that help create more harmony at home while building confidence in their parenting.
