Jamie enjoys working with children ages five and older, adolescents, and adults. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University.
“I understand how courageous it is to come into a therapy office, so I make it a priority to provide my clients with a safe and comfortable environment. I use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and crisis intervention to help my clients work through issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, self-injury behaviors, and grief and loss.
My goal is to provide my clients with the confidence to overcome their challenges and be able to recognize their strengths and use those strengths to make positive changes in their lives. I take pride in connecting with my clients and providing them with the expertise and support they need to achieve the changes they want to live life to the fullest.
Out of the office, you will find me spending time with my family and my dogs, attending concerts, and enjoying relaxing rides on my motorcycle.”
