“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”- Maya Angelou

Kelli is a licensed school counselor and provisionally licensed professional counselor. She has worked in a variety of educational settings with students ranging from elementary age through adults in college. Kelli has also worked to support families experiencing housing instability throughout Will County’s public school system. She has a passion for helping families and individuals going through life transitions, anxiety, stress management, and academic challenges. Kelli completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Francis in 2006 and her Master of Arts in School Guidance from Lewis University in 2008. Kelli recently returned to Lewis University to complete the necessary classes for her LPC, which has been her longtime goal.

“I became a counselor because of my positive interactions with my own high school guidance counselor. I felt like I was supported and encouraged to make the best choices possible and she left a strong imprint on my passion to advocate for others when needed. I have pursued a long career of helping individuals by meeting them where they are, helping them define what success means to them personally, and making a plan to get there.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my teenage daughters. I also enjoy live comedy, reading, traveling, and board/card games.”
